Sinon is known as 'Halfway' due to his status as a Halfbreed, and the way his skin elegantly mottles the gray of a moth with the paleness of a Tarkesh ant. He runs the Halfway House fief in Helleron.
Empire in Black and Gold[]
Sinon is willing to let Tynisa earn herself a place in his fief but reminds her that she owes him for the wounds she inflicted. He lets her sleep with him but that is a choice they both agree to, not a price. He upholds his bargain by finding out about her friends and passing on a warning.
