Light Airborne

The Light Airborne is a class of infantry used by the Wasp while in battle. Their armour is limited to a helmet and sleeveless scale hauberk but is light enough to allow flight. For weapons they only have a shortsword and their sting. This is usually sufficient, though, because they are more maneouverable than most enemies and they greatly outnumber those that they cannot outfight. Quantity, as the saying goes, has a quality all of its own. The Light Airborne is not efficient but it is very effective.
