Whilst the city of Tark was being conquered by the Wasps, the King sent a large contingent, under Parops, to leave the city and maintain the city's army in exile.
Its first act was to be transported to the besieged Collegium by Teornis and help break that siege. After being named by their commander and equipped by the grateful beetles, they make their way to Sarn, to assist in its defence.
